Right to Rest Act
A newly proposed law, which allows houseless people to sue the government for monetary damages (e.g. up to $1000 per incident in liberal states) if they have been harassed, cited, or arrested by local police, public or private security personnel, or even employees of local governments (agents of Big Brother, excepted, of course). Those experiencing lack of permanent shelter must be protected from punitive profiling just because of their life choices. All people need a right to exist wherever they choose, which is being denied. Everyone has the right to a reasonable expectation of privacy, even if they are living in a public space.
