Praetorianism
A midnight purge of disloyal military members who are then replaced by extreme loyalists of the dictator. This sends an ominous message and establishes the foundations for authoritarian control of the government. No branch of government has been safe from the installation of MAGA loyalists inside the Justice Department, the FBI , intelligence services, and other critical departments.
