Ministry of Truth Daily Update - 17 Apr 2025 - Unequal Outcomes

Unequal Outcomes

Disparate group outcomes are de facto evidence that the concept of equal rights is flawed and broken, due to entrenched racial discrimination.  "Under a just system, the criterion for assessing biased treatment would not be disparate outcomes but specific, concrete discrimination, driven by animus."  Despite the fact that different groups have different preferences, talents, and capacities, we must "openly discriminate against disfavored racial groups, impose ideological orthodoxies on American citizens, and restrict freedoms of speech and association."

Ministry of Truth Daily Update - 16 Apr 2025 - TransMission

TransMission

The ultimate goal of the Ministry of Truth is to force society into submission by passing on the approved ideology and gaslighting an ignorant society.  For example, since obviously transwomen are real, there can be no compromise in fighting for inclusion in women's spaces, such as beauty pageants, sports, locker rooms, morality, and children's (drag) story hours.  Claims of unfair competition and bio-women's rights violations are just based on ignorance.

Ministry of Truth Daily Update - 15 Apr 2025 - Social Insecurity

Social Insecurity

Due to unfounded claims of Waste, Fraud, and Abuse (WFA), resistance judges have stepped in and preemptively prevented access by the DOGE team to any and all SSA data that could be interpreted by the investigators as WFA.  Reports by outlets of the Ministry of Truth have spotlighted the irresponsible claims that Social Security is a Ponzi scheme careening towards bankruptcy, threats to shut it down, to withhold payments, and to gut the administrative state, have put fear into the hearts of SS recipients who only want what they are told they deserve.  To protect the public interest, judges must resist changes to the status quo and to never allow spending to decrease.

Ministry of Truth Daily Update - 14 Apr 2025 - Terrible Tariffs

Terrible Tariffs

In a futile effort to undo decades of globalization, the Disruptor-in-Chief is tanking the economy, the stock market, and our world reputation by insisting on "fair" trade practices.  Because of our colonialist past, we owe the world a chance to get even by charging us more while protecting their own countries first.

Ministry of Truth Just Kidding Update - 11 Apr 2025 - Meat Consumption Tax

Meat Consumption Tax

Financial disincentives for meat consumption, since meat and dairy production is the ‘biggest climate culprit’.  Taxing meat consumption would result in meat and dairy becoming more expensive, and thus plant-based foods being relatively more affordable.  Meat and dairy alternatives are much more climate-friendly than all animal-based foods, when counting the carbon opportunity cost of production.

Ministry of Truth Daily Update - 10 Apr 2025 - Races

Races

Fantasy role-playing games must take diversity seriously to meet DEI goals.  Hence some character traits have been divorced from biological identity.  For example,  a mountain dwarf is no longer inherently brawny and durable, nor is a high elf intelligent and dexterous by definition.  These changes to the rules of the game, based on equity and personal safety, as enforced by responsible dungeon masters, will ensure a safe environment for all characters and participants.
