Premodern Structural Racism
Bias against minorities is not new; the dominant culture has always oppressed minorities. New archeological discoveries have shown, based on medieval plague burial sites, that black women of African ancestry were disproportionately more likely to have died by plague, thus proving that structural white racism predated Modernity. These findings, however, are disputed, since modern gender and race theory states that there is nothing biological or structurally different between the different genders or races. This is despite contrary claims by anthropologists forensically looking at bones, whose views are colored by an outdated 20th century understanding of biology.
