The Ministry of Truth denies ICE reports that hundreds of thousands of convicted violent criminals have been escorted into the country during Big Brother's reign. These are not the immigrants you are looking for, since obviously most haven't been convicted yet. If even one innocent immigrant family gets to start a new life, it is worth letting a small number of convicts have opportunity too.
