Ministry of Truth Daily Update - 28 Oct 2024 - Ambush Interviews

Ambush Interviews

Media interactions are supposed to be platforms for promoting Ministry of Truth approved candidates (AppCans) and policies, and for attacking the unapproved.  It is taboo to ask AppCans unshared tough policy questions, or to bring up uncomfortable topics.  In addition, aggressive follow up questions are uncalled for, since clearly they avoided answering the first time.  When pressed, the goal for AppCans should be to deflect, not directly answer questions, bloviate, or to incessantly blame their opponent.  AppCans should just stay on their one (or two) talking points, and avoid getting trapped into saying anything that can pin down their positions.  AppCans should never be fact-checked in public, since that could hurt their election chances.

Ministry of Truth Timely Update - 17 Sep 2024 - Assassination Normalization

Assassination Normalization

Near miss attempts on the life of known "threats to democracy" and would-be "dictators" are less newsworthy than stories about immigrant oppression and spreading hurtful lies about pets.  Sadly these "events" are expected consequences brought on by their own extreme rhetoric.  Since he is now only a candidate, and not Big Brother, it is good enough that he is "mostly safe".

Ministry of Truth Daily Update - 17 Sep 2024 - Cheap Fake Videos

Cheap Fake Videos

Any video which is deliberately used, edited or not, to show Big Brother (or other MiniTru approved candidates) in an unfavorable light.  Agents of CHAOS (Conspiracy of Hateful Agents of Overt Subversion) work night and day to reverse-gaslight an unsuspecting public into actually disbelieving what they clearly see and hear.

Ministry of Truth Daily Update - 15 Apr 2024 - Cohesive and Aligned

Cohesive and Aligned

Because of the deep commitment of Ministry of Truth media outlets to presenting audiences with a diverse set of viewpoints and experiences, particularly during these consequential times, they must proactively remove disruptive voices with credibility issues. One thought leader stated, "We must have diverse viewpoints on our programs, and to that end, we will redouble our efforts to seek voices that represent different parts of the political spectrum."  Hiring politically biased and dangerous propagandists is unacceptable for our "non-partisan" networks.

Ministry of Truth Daily Update - 05 Jun 2023 - Sports Fairness Research

Sports Fairness Research

Research studies must be conducted within equity guidelines to get acceptable results.  For instance, when conducting surveys on transgenderism in sports, use of the terms "male" or "female" could be viewed as a form of misgendering, and result in biased results.  The same would apply to questions about competitive advantages based on biological sex.  All research proposals need to be approved by official Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion committees.  This ensures the effectiveness of survey wording and that the presentation of the research does not conflict with established Truth outcomes.

Ministry of Truth Daily Update - 06 Nov 2021 - Perpetuating Stereotypes

Perpetuating Stereotypes

Reporting on oppressed minorities should be carefully presented to reflect their need to be protected from unwarranted attention that would distract from established Ministry of Truth narratives.

Ministry of Truth Daily Update - 22 Oct 2021 - Both-siderism

Both-siderism

(aka bothsideism) Ministry of Truth spokespersons fail the public when they appear to be objectively fair and balanced in their reporting, since the other side is wrong and it is harmful to criticize the ruling party.  Modern journalists should prevent unapproved new (mis)information from being reported, should try to focus on destroying the opposition, and shouldn't balance their reporting with the outright, calculated lies of the enemies of truth.
