It is really an attack and dismissive put down, similar to "Bless your heart" spoken by a redneck southerner. At best, it is a backhanded compliment intended as a negotiation tactic to catch them off guard while seeming civil.

The former dictator and opposition candidate is the root cause of political violence due to his inflammatory rhetoric. This Hitleresque clone is an existential threat to the very foundations of our democracy, and is

dangerous and divisive,
a traitor and civil war plotter,
an extremist,
an inciter of violence,
a racist and hater of minorities,
a denier of all (scientific) truth,
a climate destroyer,
the taker of fundamental freedoms and rights,
a friend to dictators and international pariah,
a threat to the soul of our nation and everything we stand for,
against our national interest in the military industrial complex and profitable wars,
an instigator of more violence by surviving assassinations,
and … makes mean, insulting tweets!

The enemy, and his ignorant minions, must lower the temperature of their rhetoric before someone gets hurt. Violence against us is not acceptable in our country.

The Ministry of Truth is adamant that no such thing is possible, since it was obviously staged. Claims of close calls without a dead body are just fake news. Clearly fake blood, faked deaths, and lack of panic prove this was a false flag event by opponents of Big Brother. There also is no motive, since media, political, and legal assassinations have already proven effective at stopping or slowing the opposition from destroying our country, … right ?!?

Demagogic Speech

Righteous polemic by Big Brother against all who oppose his agenda, declaring that all those who are not with him are enemies of the Republic. For emphasis, use of raised clenched fists, harsh rhetoric, threats of suppression by Ministries of Peace and Love forces, and ominous mood lighting is acceptable. When Democracy is under assault, Big Brother must lead the way in restoring the soul of the nation, even if it requires pitting his loyal subjects against those supporting the Rebellion.
