Because of the recent traumatic election events, stressed and distraught students need "phone free" safe spaces to chill and decompress with mindfulness activities like coloring, finger painting, guided meditation sessions, and playing with Legos, fidget tools, and therapy ducks.  In these challenging times, the mental health of students must take priority over deadlines, formal classes, and tests.

Because our nation state is irredeemably racist, teachers must prepare the next generation to participate in its deconstruction and overthrow.  Children need to be retrained to first see only race, then immersed in unfair levels of privilege, and finally pitted against each other based on skin color.  The revolution will be complete when enough indoctrinated people rise up and demand a more just system.

It is undemocratic to empower families to choose the education providers that best meet their needs and align with their values.  Those who want to let families choose where they send their children to school are attacking our democracy by siphoning off taxpayer funding that is being allocated to other educational options and instead could be used to boost teachers' salaries, invest in public school facilities, and increase teachers union dues.

Equitable Grading

To protect disadvantaged students, under new equity grading policy guidelines, teachers should no longer penalize a student’s grade if they’re caught cheating, or even if they do no work.  Poor grades can have long-lasting impacts on unprivileged students' future and opportunities, so the playing field must be leveled regardless of performance or level of effort.

All students deserve a graduation diploma.  Don't blame the education system or root causes, since strict graduation requirements produce fundamentally racist results, have inequitable impacts, and outcomes are predicted solely by race, ethnicity, IEP status, and multilingual background.  Ministry of Truth educators need not focus on testing or teaching traditional subject matter, but rather on molding students to be loyal life-long supporters, and to do what they can to disrupt the inequitable results of proficiency testing.

Prevents teachers from giving students harmful grades below 50%, regardless of the level of effort.  A low mark on a 100-point scale does not accurately measure what a student knows and often results in students giving up.  Other obsolete grading methods include traditional A-F, comparative (curve-based), or standards-based systems.  To achieve equity and fairness, expectations must be altered for disadvantaged students dreaming of entering the high stakes college lottery.
